LeoBlaz is built privacy-first. This policy explains what the LeoBlaz browser does — and does not — do with your data. In short: your browsing data stays on your device.
◐What We Collect
The LeoBlaz desktop browser does not send your browsing history, bookmarks, passwords, notes, or page content to us. There is no built-in telemetry or analytics in the browser by default. Your profile, settings, and history are stored locally on your computer.
◑On-Device AI
When you use AI features with a local model (Ollama), all processing happens on your machine and nothing leaves it. If you choose to connect your own third-party API key (for example a cloud model), your prompts and the relevant page text are sent directly from your device to that provider under their privacy policy — never through us. You decide which mode to use.
◒Local Storage
Settings, bookmarks, reading lists, sticky notes, sessions, snapshots, AI memories, site memories, vault items, connector notes, and similar data are saved locally on your device. Clearing this data, or uninstalling, removes it. You can also export or delete parts of your data from within the browser.
◓Optional Sync
If you enable device sync, your data is end-to-end encrypted on your device before it is relayed, and the encryption key never leaves your paired devices. Any relay used can only ever store opaque, encrypted blobs it cannot read. Sync is optional and off until you turn it on.
◔Secrets Vault & Sensitive Local Data
The LeoBlaz Secrets Vault is designed to stay local. Sensitive values are meant to be protected behind your local vault password, and LeoBlaz does not upload those entries to us. If you copy or reveal a secret, that action happens on your device.
◔Network Requests
Like any browser, LeoBlaz connects to the websites you visit and, when enabled, downloads public ad/tracker filter lists and checks for software updates. These requests are necessary for the relevant feature to work and do not include your personal browsing data. Update checks contact the download host you configure.
◕Third Parties
Websites, extensions, and any cloud AI provider you connect have their own privacy practices, which we do not control. Installing an extension grants it access according to the permissions it requests, which LeoBlaz shows you before enabling. Review those permissions carefully. Connector information and notes you save in LeoBlaz also remain local unless you choose to interact with those third-party services yourself.
●This Website
This website (where you are reading this) may use standard web hosting logs or analytics/plugins configured by the site owner. That is separate from the browser itself. Refer to any cookie or analytics notice shown on this site for details.
◌Children
LeoBlaz is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
◎Changes & Contact
