Not every great feature is locked behind Pro. Two of LeoBlaz’s most useful new AI tools — Chat with your Tabs and Deep Research — are free, because they run on your own AI and cost us nothing to offer.

Chat with your Tabs

Open five articles, a couple of product pages and a spec sheet, then ask one question across all of them: “Which tab mentions pricing?”, “Summarize everything I have open”, or “Compare these three.” LeoBlaz reads each open tab on-device, sends the text only to your chosen AI (local Ollama or your own key), and answers while citing which tab each fact came from. Internal pages are skipped, and nothing is uploaded to us. It is the fastest way to make sense of a messy research session without copy-pasting between tabs.

Deep Research

Give a topic and LeoBlaz uses your open pages as sources to write a structured report: an overview, key findings as bullet points, the details, and a list of sources with inline citations like [S1], [S2]. It reasons only from the pages you actually opened, flags gaps honestly, and you can save the result. A pile of tabs becomes a clean, shareable brief in seconds.

Why give these away?

Because they use the AI you already configured — your local model or your own API key — there is no ongoing cost to LeoBlaz, so there is no reason to charge for them. This is the same logic behind our free on-device assistant. We only charge for features that require us to do continuous work on your behalf, like Self-Healing and scheduled Flows.

A tip for best results

Both tools are only as good as the model behind them, and you are in control of that. A small local model through Ollama is private and free but lighter on long synthesis; a frontier model via your own API key handles many tabs and big reports more confidently. LeoBlaz lets you switch between them in seconds, so you can keep everyday questions fully on-device and reach for a stronger model only when a research task demands it. Either way, the page text goes only to the AI you chose — never to us.

How Pro extends them

If you connect Pro’s unlimited assistant, these tools simply stop hitting the free daily cap, so heavy research days never get interrupted. And you can wrap a research routine into a scheduled Flow (“every Monday, summarize these five dashboards”). But the core power tools? Yours, free, and private.
