One question we hear a lot: “If LeoBlaz is free, what am I paying for with Pro?” The honest answer is that the browser itself — fast, private, ad-blocking, with on-device AI — is completely free and always will be. AI Pro ($19.50/year) unlocks the layer that works for you in the background.
What you get for free
Everything you need to browse better: the full browser engine, EasyList-grade ad and tracker blocking, a per-page privacy score, fingerprint protection, HTTPS upgrade and DNS-over-HTTPS. You also get the on-device AI assistant (via Ollama or your own API key), inline translation in 15 languages, reading mode, bookmarks with auto-tagging, tab hibernation, and the one-shot AI agent that can perform a task on the current page after showing you a plan. Crucially, we never sell your data — on any tier.
What Pro adds
Pro is about automation and “unlimited.” It switches on AI Self-Healing (your browser fixes its own slow pages, frozen tabs, crashes and memory strain), Adaptive Tuning that learns how you browse, live per-tab CPU/RAM graphs with auto-suspend, smart prefetch, the unlimited AI assistant (no daily cap), and Task Automation “Flows” — saving, scheduling and running multi-step jobs across pages.
Why this split?
Most browsers are free because you are the product — they monetize your browsing data. LeoBlaz refuses that model. We earn only by selling genuinely useful features to people who want them, never by selling information about anyone. That is why the privacy and core browsing stay free, while the heavier, compute-hungry “do it for me” intelligence sits in Pro.
How activation works
When you buy Pro you receive a license key by email. Open LeoBlaz, go to Settings then the AI Pro tab, paste the key, and click Activate — Pro unlocks and locks to that device. Your subscription is checked online so that a successful yearly payment keeps it active and a missed payment quietly reverts you to Free until you renew. There is a short offline grace period, so a flaky connection never locks you out mid-session. Moving to a new computer is easy: deactivate on the old one, then activate the same key on the new one.
Who should upgrade?
If you live in your browser — lots of tabs, heavy research, repetitive tasks — Pro pays for itself in saved time and fewer crashes. If you are a casual user, the free tier is already more private and capable than Chrome. Either way, your data stays yours. One subscription covers your devices, renews yearly, and reverts cleanly to Free if you ever cancel — with no data lost.
